Singer/Songwriter - Art Of Dying

Jonny Hetherington is the Vancouver based artist and business owner best known as the vocalist for alternative rock band ‘Art of Dying’. He has spent the last 12 years based in Vancouver learning the business of music from the ‘inside’ as a front man, vocalist, manager, songwriter and independent label operator.

Jonny and long time partner Greg Bradley have been responsible for bringing numerous albums, videos, radio singles and tours to the public over their 10 year journey together. Together they have been completely involved in every aspect of these achievements including: creative, business, logistics and funding. These successes have required extremely high levels of self-motivation, organization and business sense.

In 2006 the two incorporated their commercial endeavor as Thorny Bleeder Records Inc. and brought on Brian Thompson as Managing Partner of the label, an industry veteran who shares their vision and is equally committed to success.

The music business can be taught to a certain extent, but the true art of this industry lies within its experiences. Jonny has finely tuned his business sense and acquired all of the key international contacts that only 12 years in the business can provide. Coupled with a keen creative ability, Jonny and Thorny Bleeder Records are now poised to become an innovative music company of the future and Canada’s next big exporter of music to the world.
