The Diss Of The Decade: NIN vs. Chris Cornell

I seem to blog about Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails a lot, however it's not because I'm their number one fan (although I do love their music, and have since '90). The reason I keep talking about them is because they are one of the only music acts that continue to do bold, exciting, groundbreaking and newsworthy things online. While many artists attempt to do something similar online and fail...NIN do it successfully, over and over again, many times a year.

Well, being that it's April Fool's Day...Trent has done it again, in what I'm now officially labeling as The Diss Of The Decade. If you follow rock news, or follow NIN on Twitter, it's no secret that Reznor despises what Chris Cornell has done with his latest album, produced by Timbaland. Here's what Reznor had to say on Twitter about the album:
"You know that feeling you get when somebody embarrasses themselves so badly YOU feel uncomfortable? Heard Chris Cornell's record? Jesus."
After a couple of Twitter replies from Cornell, Reznor stepped it up a notch today, creating an April Fool's Day website, poking fun at Cornell. This has to be one of the funniest jabs at a fellow artist I've ever seen.
Check out the website here: http://www.nin.com/strobelight/
And here's the text from the new spoof-site:

Priceless.
