Vancouver seems to be turning into quite a hotbed of upcoming world class metal in the past few years; Six Inches Of Blood, Bison BC, Southern Death Threat, to name just a few. Add to the list today's featured artist, Over The Coals.
Mixing elements of classic thrash (think Pantera) with the powerful sound of new millennium metal (Lamb Of God), Over The Coals' powerful presence, hooky melodies, throaty vocals, and groove based rhythms are sure to please the most ardent metal connoisseur.
In the past year Over The Coals has shared the stage with Powerman 5000 and Iced Earth (among many others), and with new management by esteemed metal guru "Danger" (from 99.3 CFOX FM), 2009 is destined to be a banner year for this up and coming metal outfit. Expect to see lots of touring and general mayhem in the coming year...
