From Studio Janitor To Nominee For Recording Engineer Of The Year
Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Aerosmith, Van Halen, Motley Crüe -- Mike Fraser's discography reads like a who's who of hard-rock royalty.
The Langley-based engineer works his magic out of Bryan Adams' state-of-the-art Warehouse Studios in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. It's where AC/DC recorded its global chart topper Black Ice.
Fraser's eighth project with the Aussie quartet garnered two 2009 Juno nominations. The CD is nominated as International Album of the Year and Fraser is personally up for Recording Engineer of the Year for the single "Rock 'n' Roll Train." Fraser, who mixed Sam Roberts' Love At the End of the World, is also in on that album's four nominations.
