This week's featured artist from our Get Thorny 3 compilation (a free download!) is Scott Valentine, based out of Victoria, BC.
Valentine fuses rich and soulful melodies across his unique 5-string acoustic rhythm guitar style while his lyrical tales depict mankind and the struggles of life in the 21st Century. He's a passionate man with a mission, challenging the status quo and inspiring change.
Valentine's music is indie acoustic, folk, soul with a stunning and powerful voice, inspired by the likes of Eddie Vedder and Ray LaMontagne. Check out his epic 5 disc debut album Seasons, a journey through birth, life and death... and from Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
Valentine is currently in the midst of writing songs for his upcoming new album and we hope to have a new song teaser in the next couple of months.
