'Get Thorny' In The 'International Songwriting Competition' Finals

The International Songwriting Competition (ISC) has announced its finalists today.

And not one...but two bands from the Thorny Bleeder Records "Get Thorny" free web-compilation-download have been selected as Top 15 finalists in the Rock Category for Best Song:

The Sessions - "Say Goodbye Adrianne"
YUCA - "It's About Something"

How freakin' cool is that? Way to go guys!

With only 287 finalists chosen out of over 15,500 entrants, it is an extraordinary achievement. All finalists' songs have been sent to the panel of judges, and the ISC will announce the winners in April as soon as the judges have made their decision.

All finalists' songs and music videos are included in the People's Voice - an online voting contest that allows the public to listen to all the finalists' songs and vote for their favorite one. People's Voice is separate from, and in addition to, the winners selected by ISC's panel of judges.

Voting will take place from now until March 31, 2009.
