Steve Jobs.
February 24, 1955 – October 5, 2011
Thank you Steve... you've inspired us beyond measure. Your passion, your vision, your leadership, your tenacity, your perserverance… your products.
I can think of nothing better to share than the following two videos as we remember and celebrate one of the most important figures of our time.
Here's a 1997 version of a commercial which never aired featuring Steve Jobs narrating the first Think Different commercial, Here's to the Crazy Ones (Richard Dreyfuss ended up doing the voiceover for the spot that aired).
This next video is the "Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish." address Steve delivered in 2005 at Stanford University, which I'm sure many of you have already seen. It's a must-see.
Drawing from some of the most pivotal points in his life, Steve Jobs, chief executive officer and co-founder of Apple Computer and of Pixar Animation Studios, urged graduates to pursue their dreams and see the opportunities in life's setbacks -- including death itself -- at the university's 114th Commencement on June 12, 2005.
