Thorny Bleeder Update: August Oh-Nine

Filed in:
Update

I just updated the Artist Pages on our website. Check them out, there's a new page for each artist on our roster. It's just a start for what will eventually include tour dates, photos, videos, and more little tidbits from each artist..

Us Thorny Bleeder's are getting super excited for the two albums we're about to release worldwide on September 1st;
TV Heart Attack "Lost In The Sway EP" and Burning Borders "Yesterday's Gone". We can't wait to share this incredible new music with everyone!

If you want to help us and the bands out,
call your local radio station and request their current singles (TV Heart Attack "AO" and Burning Borders "Leading")...every phone call makes a difference, you wouldn't believe how tough it is to get on the radio these days when you're an independent.

More website changes are coming down the pipe within the next month or two as well, including a brand new
Thorny Bleeder Store. Yeehaw!

What else is happening? Well,
Art Of Dying is getting ready to hit the studio in September to start work on their next record! They've got a list of about fifty songs and are in the process of trying to decide which ones will make the cut. Big things are happening with these guys, stay tuned for more info soon...trust me, you won't want to miss it.

Speaking of the studio, the latest band signed to our roster,
Quartered, are still deciding on a producer for their next album. They hope to hit the studio in November for what will end up being their debut release on Thorny Bleeder Records. Killer!

Also in the studio is Scott Valentine, but if you've been following The Bleeder Blog you'll know that he's not working on his solo stuff this time around. Valentine recently joined the group
Black Hat Villain as their new lead vocalist and is already in the studio working on their debut EP. These guys don't waste any time. We should have some new music from them next month, and you're gonna crap your pants when you hear them. Soooo good....

And even more studio action is on the radar for
Ross Neilsen & The Sufferin' Bastards, who are heading down to Mississippi to record with famed producer Jim Dickinson. So we're anxiously awaiting some dirty new tunes from these guys next year. But in the meantime, we're re-releasing Neilsen's "Early Grave" album, worldwide in October. Yeah baby! You gotta' love the blues...

Meanwhile, our metal brethren in the ass-kicking
Over The Coals have just launched their new website, www.OverTheCoalsWillKillYou.com. Check it out. The guys are hard at work booking a Western Canadian Tour as we speak, so watch for tour dates to be announced very soon. We're gearing up for the worldwide re-release of their fabulous metal masterpiece "Closed Eyes At Sunrise" in October. More info on the album release in the very near future...

The Rebellion is also working on some tour plans for the fall, so watch for announcements soon. We'll be re-releasing their debut album "Time" in the near future as well, but it'll be a little different from the version they released on their own last year. A new mix, a new master, some track changes...and possibly even a poster thrown in as well. We'll give you more info the second we have it.

And last but not least, we're always looking for new music and bands to work with. So if you or anyone you know thinks you have what it takes to be a Thorny Bleeder, drop us a line or send us some music using our
Soundcloud dropbox in the right hand column. It's super quick and easy to do.

And that's all for now folks! As always, thanks for reading, your support means everything! Without YOU...the music can't go on.

Over and out.
