Canadian Music Week officially kicks off tonight in Toronto.
So if you're reading this blog AND you're in Toronto, you can catch three of our artists performing at showcases tonight!
SHOWCASE #1: Columbia
MP3: COLUMBIA - 10 Out Of 10
When: Wednesday, March 10th @ 11pm
Where: Neutral (349a College St.)
What's the buzz?
Hot on the heals of a successful US Tour and winning the Supernova.com finals for Vancouver's Best Indie Artist, Columbia hits Canadian Music Week to show the world what they've got. The band is also featured on the brand new TEA South compilation with their infectious new single "10 Out Of 10", which can be heard and requested at radio now. You have to see them to believe them. Swing by Neutral tonight to see why their fans are going nuts over them....
SHOWCASE #2: TV Heart Attack with The Rebellion
MP3: TV HEART ATTACK - AO
MP3: The Rebellion - Dr. Don't
When: Wednesday, March 10th @ 9pm
Where: The Hideout (484 Queen St. West)
What's the buzz?
Straight from the lips of Alan Cross, Sr. Program Director for The Edge 102.1FM in Toronto and syndicated radio host for the History Of Ongoing Music and the Explore Music programs:
"This Vancouver band has an insanely catch CD called Lost In The Sway. A lot of the melodies burn holes into your brain that takes weeks to heal."

The snapshot above is from page 3 of the official Canadian Music Fest booklet in the "Buzz Bands" section of must-see acts at Canadian Music Week. Coming from Alan Cross, that's no small endorsement. Pow!

In the snapshot above, TV Heart Attack is also featured in the same CMW festival guide on another page as well.
